WONDERFUL photos of your loyal friend!
He is across the bridge.... waiting to play ball again.
Blessings.

Thank you. Every day gets a little easier. I will miss him every day and can't wait to see him on the rainbow bridge when my time comes. We still have Kyia, the Golden in my avatar.

So sorry for those who have also lost a pet, they are part of our families.

Think of him running and playing and always watching the
Rainbow Bridge. That is one of the ways I can remember my
own many late fur kids even though it makes my eyes leak.

Yes we have to think of it that way. When my husband died, my oldest grandson was just 5 1/2. He asked me about heaven and why God took Pepop. I told him that God calls you up to Heaven when he needs a special job done. My grandson said, "Oh I know why he called Pepop up. He needed someone to walk all the dogs in Heaven." So now every time we hear of a dog passing, we say, "Another dog for Pepop to walk." It takes a little bit of the hurt away all the way around. So just remember my husband is walking your beautiful dog along with my Bandit the Husky/Malamute.

I'm so sorry for your loss. They are family members and missed so. I love the pic of his face. What a beautiful dog.

Thank you for that touching story! I will definately think of it that way. I sure hope Dugan isn't pulling Pepop by chasing all the bunnies and squirrels!

I know the pain you are feeling. Been there. Our dogs become like a member of the family and when they are gone, the pain comes.
