Sorry your gazebo crashed.

Windy here in NW Ohio. Live in the country & surounded by flat farm land. Everything ends up in
my front yard.

Gusty gales here in WV too. Daughter took me with her and the children yesterday up to Clarksburg in a 12 passenger van they just got and the wind just about blew us off the highway about three times on the way up there. She was having a heck of a time controlling that big beast. When we got back last evening, I found all of my plants on the deck were scattered all over the floor and mostly broken up. The big begonia is gonia now.

Nope..it twisted all the metal and ripped up the screen to bad. It makes me so mad...we can't use the deck without it, it's just way to hot. We planted trees but have awhile to go before they help much. We have all winter to figure out the next plan of action.
You just might be able to find a replacement over the next few months as they would be out of season. (Cup half full)!

SO windy all over the Great Lakes area. A dear friend is a captain of a 1,000 footer out on the lakes, and he has been laid up since Friday night because of 20+ foot waves on Lake Superior. His ship is empty and he needs to get across Superior to load it in Deluth. I feel for him, but I LOVE the wind. It is my first fall in MI in 28 years, and I am loving every single second of it.

I was planning a day to stay home and quilt. On the 7am local news they said. "Waves expected to be 10-15 feet at Lake Mich. I woke up my DH and said, "get up! We are going to the lake!" It was awesome. The lake is always good medicine for me and yesterday it was mega awesome!

Windy here also. Lots of the trees are stripped of their leaves so there won't be much color left to see. All on the ground!

Do you have a fireplace? You could still get one more use out of it.

Windy here too in So. Wisconsin. That's OK. Can't get any yard work done so I have a good excuse to quilt!

We spent the weekend at Ft. Riley, Kansas and it was very windy there also. Made driving a bit hard at times to stay in my lane. Not so windy here.
