Default Daughters Christmas Stocking

After my daughter requested a Christmas stocking, as I had never made her one as a child, I made her this one yesterday. Unfortunately I was only into making clothing when my children were small and did not have the inclination to time to interested in crafts and quilting. This was an unplanned project just a design as you go and fortunately I had all the requirements on hand, guess this come from a life time of sewing.

I had machine embroidered the large pieces of lace some time ago for another project that hasn't eventuated and I printed the picture on fabric. I also made the small heart ornament to hang at the top of the stocking. Many years ago I purchased a bag of bridal off cuts and I have a small stash of old laces from my MIL and DH's grandmother, so I have used some of them for this project.

I hope my daughter will be happy with her stocking seeing she has waited 44 years for it.

That is very much like the set of stockings I am missing. My mantle looks so bare without them. I have no idea where to look that I haven't already done so. I made mine 25 years ago.
