Our mail still is not picking up or delivering due to the snow/ice on the roads. I cannot imagine how much mail is piling up at the Post Office for everyone!

Around here they deliver no matter what, but maybe because you are in SC and SC isn't used to getting snow they are only delivering to priority places?

It can pile up at our PO for a week or more, only it is due to area flooding, not so much due to ice/snow. It can take them several days to get caught up too  :D:D:D

LOL!! I went to the USPS monday just to see if they was open, and yes it was! The whole town was shut down but not then! The post master was there all by him self in the cold and the dark!! He looked like an eskimo. He gave me that whole speach about "even in snow, ice, sleet . . ." we will be here!! lol

Sorry to hear about your mail issues!!!

Their motto eventually has changed.

I couldn't even walk across the street without slipping - so honestly I don't blame them. I think our roads will be completely cleared from the sun/wind before the County will reach our neighborhood to scrape. We just don't have the equipment/crews since this very rarely happens.

We have only received local mail. Nothing from out of state in days.
