Default Definitely Not a Quilt..but there Is some sewing.

Back in February with those 6 foot snow banks, I backed out my drive into my neighbour's SIL's car.
It was only fibre glass damage and he was happy do it himself.
But would I do them a favour an reupholster a chair? I had done one for their mother( and swore I would do no more as its getting too hard on my hands). I was kind of stuck.
They excitedly picked out and bought the material....except they didn't listen to a word I said.
They bought outdoor furniture material. Pretty,,but synthetic with no give or stretch.
I mentioned this to their mother before I started and she said just do your best. They'd have to live with the results.
It turned out not too shabby! ( It feels like my grandmother's furniture, that nubby nylon stuff )( Kind of clashes with my rug! LOL )
But I'm sure they'll be delighted.

Fantastic job! I too gave up reupholstering a couple of years ago because I just don't have the grip in my hands anymore. The chair looks wonderful. You should be very proud.

That is beautiful. I have been upholstering a chair like this for over a year. The farest I've gotten is to purchase the fabric.

I agree. Never tried anything bigger than a footstool. Looks very professional.
