I did 2 lazy boy chairs last summer and can totally appreciate the toll it takes on hands and body. You did a really magnificent job, I am in awe!!

But would I do them a favour an reupholster a chair? I had done one for their mother( and swore I would do no more as its getting too hard on my hands). I was kind of stuck.
They excitedly picked out and bought the material....except they didn't listen to a word I said.
They bought outdoor furniture material. Pretty,,but synthetic with no give or stretch.
I mentioned this to their mother before I started and she said just do your best. They'd have to live with the results.
It turned out not too shabby! ( It feels like my grandmother's furniture, that nubby nylon stuff )( Kind of clashes with my rug! LOL )
But I'm sure they'll be delighted.
You did a good job. I have never tried to cover a chair, but have recovered my sofa and side chair's cushions several times. I love being able to change out my furniture without actually replacing the frame.

Wow, you did a remarkable job! I've always wanted to do this, but feel I have waited too long now with hand issues, too.
