DH's and my oldest granddaughter is turning 8 on the 24th and this is what I made her. It is totally reversible. Used 2 cordinating FQs and my own thoughts. Bought the 2 appliques at the dollar store. I hope she'll love it.

That looks like she could have a lot of fun with it! I certainly would have loved it at that age. And the shimmer on the heart is the perfect touch.
