    Did you know?

    * The people who seem the strongest are usually the most sensitive.
    * The people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to be mistreated.
    * The people who take care of others before themselves are usually the ones who need care the most.
    * The people who smile the most don't always have a perfect life. You need to look closely behind the smile to see the pain.
    * The three hardest things to say are "I love you" I am sorry" and "Help Me"

It's hard to know the truth of these matters. Quite complex, and probably not amenable to this short a summary. Thanks for giving us a pause for thought.

Thank you for the reminder to always strive for exhibiting our best towards our fellow man. We cannot know what burden they carry.

Thanks for posting. I am sharing this with many. I am also a Carol Ann. When I was born the minister refused to baptize me as it was "not a proper name". My Grandfather who was President of the congregation said it was and that settled that. By the way the minister shortly after that retired and the new minister had a daughter named--you guessed it--Carol Ann!

i was born in vermont but lived most of my childhood on the north shore, my young adulthood in boston, and my early 20's on the south shore. then the earth shattered and i landed in texas. we lived in dallas for 24 yrs. and now i am in the mid-atlantic states. and what do i miss? texas! i have found beauty and love everywhere i have been.\, but i savor the warmth of texas, and love and miss my children and friends who are still there.

The first one describes my husband to a tee. I have never met anyone quite like him.
