Default DMC embroidery floss

I'm back to making the vintage, intricate X stitch Christmas stockings at the request of my Grandkids. Ugggg Actually I don't really mind (until I get lost in the pattern). BUT, what I do hate is standing at JoAnn's getting all the color skeins. I went to their online store and it's not used friendly for the large number I need to get. Does anyone know where I can just check off the colors I need?

Have your tried Hobby Lobby? I needed just a little floss and found what I wanted there just by chance. Other option look for a local store that specializes in needle work supplies aka knitting, embroidery and or wool work.

My JA was sparse, so I headed to Hobby Lobby. They had a great selection!

SuZQ This is exactly what I was hoping for. It looks like a great website. Now, I'm wondering if some of my pearl cotton could be used and how I can match the colors. I will do a little more research on this site because I love using pearl cotton. Thank you so much.
