You're right! This one always makes me stop and think, "Gee, I didn't know that Gene Wilder could sing that well!".

And now the brain-worm has planted itself firmly in my head.

I don't have a song but I would like to know about your tinnitus and what if anything you do for it.
Nothing, the doctor told me to turn up th TV and use background noise. I pray about it a lot. I do find when I'm tired or anxious it gets worse. There's a product out, I thought I might try that. The only reason I haven't is I think it's probably hype.

What is your brain-worm?
I get them all the time...years ago it was "Elvira" by the Oak Ridge Boys...not exactly what I wanted to hear all day...
oom papa mow mow!!!

We get so tickled bc our middle DD who is married, is not a country music fan but her DH is big time.
We are, but I agree to a point:
she hates the song by Luke Bryan, "Rain Is a Good Thing".
She howls and runs to turn the radio down, and then her DH starts singing at the top of his lungs!
They are a hoot! I enjoy the song, just to see their antics

Rain makes corn,
Corn makes whisky,
Whisky makes my baby...feel a little frisky ;)

Something something something,
Rain is a good thing

It's a happy, happy, cornball song with the hillbilliest twangy music to it...oh jeez...is that the song i'm gonna quilt to today?
I was just sharing DD's plight
AH!!!...happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...1,2,3,4,5, 6, 7 ;-)

It happens, but it isn"t always the same song. For me it is always "old"songs that I heard growing up, like maybe 8 or 9 years old. For some reason, I can remember the words, at least some of them, to those . Maybe cause I had older sisters playing the radio all the time. Ever heard "I Want a Bowlegged woman That's Tall"? That one will stick today until all the words come to me!
