My house has had a purple bathroom for over 50yrs!My husband's grandmother 1st did it purple. We remodelled it about 10yrs ago and stayed in purple. The top is cream/ bottom a muted purple, with a border between of leaves in purple, cream, with a touch of yellow&teal. My bedroom will be blue w/ accents of purple. Making my husband a beautiful purple quilt!

I had a purple bathroom many yrs ago. One day I told my close friend I painted the bathroom. Her reply was," Thank goodness". Couple weeks later she was over and went to use the bathroom. All I heard were choice words coming from the bathroom.(My best friend tells it like it is)When she came out of the bathroom she stated,"I thought you painted the bathroom?" I did but had left over paint from the last time and did not want it to go to waste.

When we bought our house 10 years ago...it had the ugliest pink bathroom. For years I went with it and tried different accent colors. Then tried a jewel toned purple one time and now I don't notice the pink anymore. Down to just the tile in the tub and on the walls in pink!

Don't have purple in my house decor, but love it in quilting fabrics. Have a friend who did her guest bath in purples and it is gorgeous. I would never have had the nerve to do it, but I really like it.

Yes my living room is purple with white trim 3 sides and pale yellow. I have very large cathedral ceilings painted white and a white mantel and facade to it. People come in my home and the first thing they say is Wow I would never believe purple could be so beautiful and they just keep looking and saying wow. /this is both men and women. .......even our grand childrens friends, Purple can be beautiful
