I don't text, and won't. I don't have a smart phone and won't. I'm not against the new generation, I just think if I need to tell my husband something I'd rather listen to him cause he usually has something to say back. I don't need a smart phone because I just can't imagine having an "immediate" need to see FB or web-browse and can't wait to get to a computer, and I wouldn't ever use it while driving anyway.

oh yea - all the time - mostly with kids - but also to communicate about confirming meeting times, lesson times/cancellations etc.

I text...I still have my original $5.00 per month phone plan...probably the only person left on the planet with one. Calls are expensive, but text is cheap. I'm not really into mobiles, only carry it around to receive messages or if I have car dramas or emergencies.
