He looked at me odd and said "well you made coffee because when I got up at 5:15 the coffee was still brewing." I don't remember getting up and making coffee. This can be scary, what if someday I decided in my sleep to take off all my cloths and go outside! Good thing we live in the middle of no where!
LOL Love it!!

I learned that when I had a problem at work I could go walk away from it, go somewhere to be alone and not think about it and a new solution would pop up in my mind for me to try. This still works for me at home. I walk away from the quilt/sewing problem and go bake something or go shopping.

I have learn that when a "A HA" moment occurs, you need to write it down so you won't forget it in the morning !!

I do ALL my problem solving in the middle of the night. Still trying to figure out when to sleep.

I always get my best ideas during that period when I'm half awake.

I misplaced some sewing machine attachments about a year ago. Hunted and hunted for days. Then in the middle of the night, got out of bed still half asleep and walked straight to where I had them stored. I still do not believe I did this in the middle of the night.

I enjoyed your replies I have never had problems sleeping for at least 8 hours with no interruptions. This waking up in the middle of the night was so unusual. I didn't realise there were 2 3 oclocks.
Oh my. Right idea was a complete and useless waste of time the next day. No more night ideas I hope.
