I overheard a lady talking about a device she put in her mother's home, which she and her family send photos to that her mother can then see. I'd love to have something like this for my elderly mother, so that my daughter and I can send her photos of my 1-year-old granddaughter on a regular basis. She said it allows you to send photos from your phone, and the person with the device can see them. She said her mother keeps it on top of her television in her living room. Does anyone know what this device is and/or where I can find one?

It might be the Kodak digital picture frame. This one has an email adress so all you have to do is email the pics to it from any computer. I want one myself. I saw them at Sam's Club a couple of weeks ago for $99.
