I'm like you. Being as self sufficient at possible is a good thing. I too love to see the windmills. I mean if you have sunshine and you have wind why not use it. Even if if doesn't cover all your electricity usage, it sure beats having to pay for all of it. For a while, on TV, there was a program about this guy who was striving to get completely off the grid for all utilities. I found it very interesting.
