I love your puppet theater! I wish I could have used your design.
Years ago I made my grandchildren a free standing puppet theater out of wood and hand puppets to go with it. Unfortunately, they only had a very large archway in which they could have their theater. The other advantage was it could be set up in any part of a room. But, what a chore to build. I started out to make the hand puppets but then realized they needed a theater too. They really liked it though so it was worth it. My pictures are on an external hard drive. If I can get the time to get at it I'll post some pictures.

That is so great, I remember making a puppet place let's say. It was a fabric made curtain over a TV tray. My grandson learned alot from the puppets (bad as they were) and also a home, made tent he would make every day
for school. He is 15 now autistic - he was in 1 and 2nd grade then. It served well, it keep all outside things away and helped him focus on his work. Thank you for a good memory, I am sure you have had many also with your puppet show. They last a lifetime. Thanks! Great job!

What a great idea and very practical. I m definitely keeping a copy of it and sharing it with my niece and her sister-in-law for their grandkids.

When I was teaching preK and kindergarten, I had one a parent made for me out of pvc pipe that could be disassembled and stored easily. The other K/preK teachers were very envious so I asked the parent if it would be all right to share it with them. He agreed and we rotated it through the classrooms with each one having it for a week. When it was our turn, the kids used it like crazy. That Christmas he surprised us all by making each teacher their own stand. God bless parents like that!
