I'm trying to figure out what NY has to do with Downton. I know about a song called Down Town but it doesn't have anything to do with Downton does it?

The Downtown reference also confused me - don't see the connection with Downton. I'm going to have to check out that link! I'll gladly pay $5 a month to watch Downton and not have to wait until January!! Thanks!

perhaps it's about the build up and commercials. No getting away from it? I know I'm a little tired of all the season premier commercials we've been getting for our TV shows here ;-)

I agree. There are lots of tv shows I don't like. Some that are super popular. I just don't watch the ones I don't like but other people have the right to like even the ones I hate. lol. I love Downton Abby though. I can hardly wait for January but will so that dh and I can watch it on the TV together. In the meantime I will try to avoid spoilers but sometimes I just can't help myself.
