You all know that they skipped so many years between seasons that the Dowager Countess Violet would have to die because of her age. She and Isobel Crowley make the show so enjoyable. It is like watching a tennis match !!

I am anxiously waiting for it to begin too - and will be very sad when it's over, but hopefully something else will be offered that will be just as enjoyable - leave it to Masterpiece!

Well I guess you will just have to come across the big pond and "re-view" it when it starts here in the US in January. You're welcome at my house. We'd have a ball. Quilt all week and watch Downton Abbey Sunday evening!

I watched it online from the UK. I will certainly miss the show. But with the success of it I'm sure there will be more shows like it soon.
