A Doxie?

I was reading another thread which i now cannot find about Doxie dogs... I have never heard of it, they look rather like dachshund, are they a mix of breeds? they certainly look cute.

I've always thought "doxie" was a nickname for dachshunds, but I could be wrong

to a dachshund lover- they are doxies. I have Italian Greyhounds, known as iggies. I sometimes forget that the whole world doesn't know them as iggies.
