I generally eat it different everytime. Sometimes its around, random bites, L to R. One row at time when I was a kid. But I agree, lots of butter, pepper & salt. Not to steal your thread, but our dinner discussion last night was about our quirks with food. I like my tomatoes sliced thin, whether on a sandwich or as a side. Don't like big, thick chunks. Of course if they are already that way I will eat them. Just picky if I slice them. DH & DD have to have their bread the way it comes out of the bag, no unmatched bread for them. LOL thanks for laugh

I eat mine right to left. Gave my DGD her first corn on the cob, she found her own way to eat it.

It doesn't really matter how you eat it just enjoy! No right or wrong way. Gee! that's almost as bad as what the right way toilet paper goes on the roller!!

Left to right, just had some for dinner. Good fresh from the field and smothered in butter.

Directions for eating corn on the cob..

Remove from hot water. Cover with slightly warm butter
and sprinkle with salt.

Grasp each end with hands or something stuck in the ends.

Put in mouth between teeth and chomp down. Chew before
letting go to stomach.

Toss empty all your cobs in the trash when no one is watching, and wash hands.

Search for a cold soda and tell everyone you can't eat any
more because you're on a diet.

Its always eaten too fast around here to even notice. Just put a pat of butter on a slice of bread, roll the corn over it, sprinkle with dill and parmessan (spelling) and its yummy

Wow, we circumference eaters are in the minority. I do the round the cob thing, starting in the middle and working to the ends in alternating rows.
