Gee...the media is being ridiculous!! They have to sensationalize everything. My BFF lives in Virginia so I just called her. She said it was just a rumbling. Lasted quite a long time but did no harm. And now the news is freaking out because the president was golfing at the time and they are worried about his safety!

Heck we feel earthquakes here all the time!

I think I did also, was sitting at the computer and the room was just shaking and I asked my Grandkids what they were doing, they were sitting right next to me. My GS said he thought it was the washing machine, but it wasn't on??

Did they think he was too close to a tree or what?

Seriously though, I hope everyone is safe.

I'm right there with you. I lived in Alameda CA when the last big one hit and then the month long of after shocks hit.

I work on the 6th floor of our hospital and when it all started moving it really unsettled me. I just had to get out and walk; I had the chills and like all kinds of nervous energy. They say we may have more aftershocks. The hospital next to us evacuated.
