I like how yours appears to have a Cross at the top. Did you use a pattern? Inquiring minds would like to know.

There is a book out there by The Ornament Girl you can order at the site below for $10 that has patterns for eggs.

Mine is far from perfect but it is done. They are a little time consuming and require a lot of pins, 4 per triangle, but it was fun.

Wow, $4.50 for just the styrofoam? That is horrible. I made a bunch many years ago, need to look for them. We made an Easter Egg tree with those at the base because they were too heavy to hang. But the easter fabrics made them so pretty.
The year making the folded quilt Christmas ball was so popular we were buying the balls for 6 of $3.00 at a local floral supply store and the pins were $7.50 a pound at a local upholstery fabric outlet. I made them for family, friends, and co-workers. Not sure but I know I did 50 for co-workers, I still have 12 and fairly sure there were 24 for more for family and friends. Before I stopped, the place I bought the pins raised their price threefold. Since it was before the days of the internet I had to wait for a sale at House of Fabrics.
