Easy dessert
Birthday dinner for adult son last night. He chose dinner and dessert. ICE CREAM SUNDAE! How easy was that. Ice cream, chopped up candy bars, nuts, done. Forgot whipped cream and cherries but still good. Other adult son said, "Mom you haven't done this in such a long time. Remember when..." I had no idea how much he liked them. Oh birthday boy like the dessert too.

great idea! We've discovered an easy dessert--I stole it from FB--cut up a roll of cinnamon rolls (I use Pillsbury) into quarters, dump into a Pam sprayed baking pan with some chopped up fruit--I had a bunch of apples and pears frozen from this past summer--we are liking pears better. Some nuts if you want. Bake about 3-5 min. longer than the package says, use the icing provided. Yum!

We love ice cream. Right now my favorite is Kroger Private Selection Brown Butter Bourbon Truffle. But nothing beats Talenti Gelato. It's been our choice from the first time I bought some home. My kids grew up with homemade ice cream and would pass on the store bought until I found Talenti.
