Did anyone realize that today(January 8) was Elvis Presley's birthday? He would of been 76 yrs. I didn't see any movies on tv like they usually have.

I always remember his birthday. It's mine too! :)

I remembered it since I live just outside of Memphis. So of course it is a really big deal here.

I remembered. I have a friend in NZ who has every kind of momento you can imagine. I found a Christmas Stocking with his picture on it at a quilt show. She now has absolutely everything imaginable, lol. And, my best friend in Wilmington NC shares this birthday, too, but she ain't anywhere near 76 and she would choke me if I said so. lol Thanks for mentioning it.

My Gosh,where has the time gone. It is hard to think of him at age 76.

I remembered-it's mine and my brother's also (3 yrs apart).

He would be 76??? Wow, hard to imagine.

My sewing room is made up with Elvis stuff. Pictures, music boxes, telephone, lamp, decorator plates, posters, cards, tins, several different books about him, Elvis bible,
Lisa maree airplane, dvds, cassettes, cds, 8-tracks,Elvis's
trivia game, 2 clocks, 5 statues still in box, a graceland statue that has a light on it. Who knows what else that I haven't mentioned. When I'm gone, someone is gonna have a nice Elvis collection.
