    Default embroidery pricing question

I have a question. Not really related to quilting. I just got asked if I could embroider sayings on handkerchiefs for a wedding. I have a Brother PE-770 and I can do it, but have no idea how much to charge! 2 or 3 would be small sayings and one a longer saying. She would be supplying the handkerchiefs. Any ideas?

No less than $10 each. I worked at an EmbroidMe store and we charged $10 to $12 to put a name on a Christmas stocking. Some people charge a $5 fee just to hoop an item.

I've done a few quilt labels and blocks for friends and usually charge $5 for hooping and stabilizer plus $1 per thousand stitches for thread, needles, ect. They supply the fabric or item to be embroidered.
