For those who expressed concern, Gracie was her usual bouncy self today, and her teeth are beautiful again.
We have two cats and they both get along great with Gracie, but they hate each other! We have to keep them separated all the time because they not only fight, but the big one intercepts the smaller one at the litter pan and drives her away from it. Having three litter pans in different rooms didn't help. It drove us nuts, and the only solution has been to keep one cat in our bedroom while the other one has the rest of the house. We switch them every 24 hours, and there is a certain amount of hissing and snarling that goes with the transition every day. It's so weird because each of these cats had previous cats as friends. It's almost as if our Pogo was relieved to get the house to herself after her late cat buddy departed. We didn't see that possibility until after we got Lizzie. Lizzie was from an animal shelter, but they had her in a foster home where she got along fine with other cats and dogs. We thought Pogo might be lonely, having had at least one other cat all her life.

I recently lost my Cara dog leaving me with 2 young bishions. The bishions couldn't settle after the loss became very depressed. Eventually decided to purchase a cat. The kitten arrived and after 12 months together she is boss and thinks she is a dog if food is about. She sleeps with the dogs and plays with them. She certainly helped them out of depression.
