I like hearing about fall in other parts of the country. We are hoping to drop into the 80's later this week - that is exciting for us here in Houston!

A normal fall would be nice. Our daytime temps are in the 60's & nights are low 40's to 30's. This AM is was 28 at 7:30.
We did have 3 cords of wood delivered last week but I'm not quite ready for that yet.

I also love Fall but I have to say I love summers more. We had a beautiful summer here on the coast of Maine. I'm not sure what our fall foliage will look like as we had very little rain this summer.

I see trampolines left open for the winter around here, so don't know what to do? Contact the salespeople where you bought it, or go on computer to check sources and suggestions.

"On a side note, this past year we bought a 15 foot Trampoline for my grandson. Anybody know how that is supposed to be stored for the winter?" How would it work to get a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood and put it over it? would it go edge to edge? It wouldn't have to be cut round, just fit it on top of the floor to keep weather off the tram. Then maybe put a tarp over that, tie it pretty taunt. It's just a thought.

I live on Long Island, New York. I haven't seen one leaf of fall this year. Leaves aren't even changing color yet. But in one day it can. It's still warm at night about 60, no frost yet. Hopefully it will stay warm for awhile. Every warm day means no heating bill for one more day. I'm still in shorts too.

The trees are just beautiful up here in western Maine. We drove to a favorite place to enjoy their seafood chowder yesterday and saw so many lovely colors. Much better than last year. The people on the tour buses are sure getting their money's worth this week.
I have some beautiful snapdragons in our window boxes. I feel badly about their 'passing' soon.

Here in the metro Atlanta area some trees are beginning to change. We lived for so long in south Louisiana with minimal fall foliage that this is a big treat for us.

How about putting a tarp on the ground and turning the trampoline upside down on the tarp, then covering it with another tarp. That way the part you jump on will be flat on the ground and won't bear the weight of the snow.

QuiltnLady1, That is a brilliant idea! It has a mesh wall around it, but if we can drop that, your plan might actually work. Seriously, you really had your thinking cap on. If we were fighting wild tigers, I'd want you on my team...
