UPDATE ... UPDATE!!

Well, Quilties, we managed to shave a few weeks off the previous average of 57.4 years. As of now (through sherriequilts on p.31), here are the numbers:

411 OF US AVERAGE ... 57.3 YEARS YOUNG.

YOUNGEST has changed to SewingSass who's 21 (p.27)

Looks like our MATRIARCH is Marge L. at 84 (p.24) unless her birthday is after 12/10 in which case it would then be NANJUN (I forgot page number).

And I must add a footnote at this juncture. Quilting has got to be good for our souls; why just look how everyone seems to defy with their good looks their actual ages. Way to go!

I know just how you feel. I'm 28 but last year I had to have a full hysterectomy and so I'm in full menopause. :? It's been quite a journey and my body never had the chance to build up to it. I'd like it to hurry up and get over. Doc says it can last 5-13 years but a sweet woman at our church is still flashing in her 70's. :?
Just so you don't get too bummed. I also had a hysterectomy in my 20's and have had no issues. I did hormone therapy for about 6 months, but none after that. I get my bone density checked to make sure I'm ok there and that's about it. I do have weight issues, but I think they are hereditary, plus I really like food :D :D ! Take care!
