I was recently told by a riding buddy of ours, that her mother(who had just died at 95), that age is just a number...having said that the daughter then said that while she and her brothers were making arrangements for the funeral they noticed that the date they had for their mother's birth year wasn't correct. She had told them she was 2 years younger than she actually was. You gotta laugh about that.

UPDATE ... UPDATE !!!

We have a NEW MATRIARCH: Handquilter at 86 years young (p.32)!

YOUNGEST has changed to SewingSass who's 21 (p.27).

Of the now 441 of us who've responded, we're now at:

AVERAGE AGE SO FAR OF 57-1/2 YEARS YOUNG !!
