O.K. I guess ill add mine even though this started a few days ago. I'm 46. My mother quilted since the mid 70's and she was so particular about hand stitching and hand quilting that i swore I'd never quilt.
But now, sadly shes gone, and I've overcome her "rules" and I love machine piecing & machine quilting (no long-arm :( -also I've been sewing since I was 10 in 4-H. I just wish I had her to ask questions now, but I guess that's why I joined this board.

I'm 27. I'll be 28 on Feb 1st.

I've been quilting "officially" since I was 16. But I've been making quilt tops since I was about 11.

Started sewing when I was 7 yr's, my first quilt at 15, my second quilt when I was 35 and I've been quilting since, I'll be 50 in May.
