Everybody loves Sugar
#11
After several days I managed to see a light on in the trailer and decided to stop and go to the door. Sugar remained teathered to the tree with her wet overstuffed lazyboy. A young man came to the door 30+-, I ask him if he owned the little dog, he said his girlfriend got the dog for her little girl. She was not at home. I told him I had always wanted a dog like that and where did he get her. He didn't know or care, so I said I would catch up with the girlfriend when i saw her car. Several more days passed and during that time I did some research on the eyes of the sharpae dog. The information was alarming, stating if the dog didn't have eye surgery it would go blind.

Part 3 The first time I spoted her car I stopped and knocked on the door, the little dog was still outside tied to the tree. When she answered the door, her daughter was standing behind her. I ask her if she would like to sell the dog, she stated no, she had gotten the dog for her daughter. I gave her the information on the eye condition I found on the internet, along with my phone number. I told her the dog would go blind without surgery. To which her daughter screamed out " I don't want no blind dog". The mother took the info and told me goodby. I'm thinking I'm going to take the dog anyway, not that I needed another dog I had 5 at home, but I would try to find her a home.

I cound not just take her, even though I was dying every time I looked at her. I continued to pass this visual torment daily. Then about 10 days later I get a call from the mom of the little girl. She said her daughter was going to have a birthday in 3 days and she wanted a parakeet for her birthday. If I would buy a bird with all the necessary stuff she would trade the bird and stuff for the dog, well guess where I went the next day. 1 more post to come.
