    Pay as you go works really well. DH seldom uses his cell phone and that's the service he has. Costs us about $15-20/month. You just have to make sure you use the minutes before they expire, at least on our AT&T account. But they roll over each time you renew.

    I used the ATT pay as you go, and found it really expensive unless you only used your phone for emergencies. Walmart has a $45.00/month plan with unlimited talk/text/internet. It's great!!
