I have some pretty fabric that I want to display on my wall. I already have some dragonfly fabric framed in picture frames. These are hung in my living room. I bought new dragonfly fabric that has a frosted look and I now want to continue the theme into the hallway. I don't want to use picture frames to display this new fabric. I plan to cut it into small (12X12" ?) squares or rectangles. Does anyone have recommendations on how to display it? I don't want to do a wall hanging. Hope you creative folks can help me.

You can always purchase wooden art stretchers and stretch them across the frames. It will look like a large square or rectangle floating on the wall.

toverly.....thanks for the suggestion. I have a couple of large stretched fabric frames in my entryway so don't want to do more.....meant to put that info in my first post. I also have full-sized quilts displayed on bedroom walls. Looking for something different.

A picture can be worth a 1000 words. Maybe if you post what you have and where you want to put your next one and the colors in it, it might help to create the vision better, and the photo might give you a new idea. I bought fabric "frame" print that I can cut the size I want and frame whatever. Small pictures framed with larger ones in the same small quilt for example. A pattern called "Seattle lights" does this quite nicely. Good luck with your goal.

I have some fabrics in embroidery hoops that I plan to sew a backing on and hang on the wall.

Beverly McCullough uses hoops to frame artwork and it's really pretty.

What about purchasing small canvas frames, the ones used to paint on. You could staple or hot glue the ends to the backside of the frames.

Crackers, I have tried to reply to your PM and it won't let me do so. Seattle lights is on my bucket list and I do have the pattern copied off (think I can find it) and will take a picture of the 'frame' fabric print and post it here. Somehow we will figure out how to communicate...never had a problem before so its got me puzzled. Just want you ot know I am not ignoring you.
