    Talking Fantastic News!!

I'm gonna be a grandma! I'm gonna be a grandma! Did I mention that I'm gonna be a first time grandma? My DD is due in June. She and DSIL are thrilled. My DH is also ecstatic. Can't wait to find out the sex so I can start a quilt!!

congratulations. hope everything goes good for them and the baby is healthy that is the main thing. Make a neutral colored quilt Grandma --get going-- you can have quite a few made by then. then you can pick and choose.

My niece is having another baby and I too am waiting to know the sex so I can make a quilt for it.
If it is a boy I have vintage cars in panels and if a girl I am going to do Fairies or something that will be OK
for a girl in her teens later.

As a Grandma to two darling girls I can tell you it will be a wonderful wonderful experience. The first time one calls you "Grandma" your heart will melt! Start saving $$$ as you won't be able to resist the urge to buy them everything you see......

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000 step process."

I have 6 grand children 3 of each from 8=20. If one of them told me they were going to have another I would be as excited as the first. You are in for a wonderful treat. Hubby takes 16 year old tomorrow for Driving school test, class and driving lesson. Oh what joy.
