Favorite Christmas movie?

"A Christmas Story". I love Ralphie and the gang. I watch it a couple of times thoughout the year as well. I told my son in law he had to watch it BEFORE he could marry my daughter. He had NEVER seen it and they were 29 when they married. Underprivileged kid.. LOL WORSE, his dad was a screenwriter with an Academy Award winning film under his belt.
And others who are top contenders are: White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th St (1947), There are some really good ones.

We watch "A Christmas Story" every year on Thanksgiving, after the dinner is over. Then the next day the Christmas tree goes up and then we watch "Polar Express" afterwards. We watch all of the movies everyone else has listed, but a HUGE favorite in our house is one not mentioned. Are we the only ones who can't have Christmas without watching "Ernest Saves Christmas"?? Ernest is my hero! LOL!

This is one of my favorites also. When hubby goes off with his sons and brothers to the deer hunting camp, I have a Christmas movie marathon. There are so many good ones out there.

For sure The Bishop's Wife with Cary Grant, and David Niven, and beautiful Loretta Young. THE best! Also for sure It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart, and newer Hallmark movies, especially Let it Snow with Candace Cameron Burre. Look for the great quilts in Let it Snow! Journey Back to Christmas is charming also, and is a Hallmark tv movie with Tom Skeritt. I watch every Christmas movie I can, helps with the Christmas Spirit, and a break from the news.
