Today has just been an awesome day for me. And all I did was run errands, a few tasks around the house, laundry and had dinner with my DH. But the weather was just pure heavenly today!!!
Here are 5 of my favorite things:
My relationship with the Lord
My DH & my kids & grandchildren
watching the signs of Spring emerge
Having coffee on the patio while watching the Birds
Being able to sew, quilt or fabric shop

Watching my husband sleep
Chatting with my grandchildren when they crawl into bed with me.
Sunsets with warm arms wrapped around me
My son and daughter fulfilled at being wonderful parents
Pussycats purring on my lap
Fresh baked pizza
Giving gifts I've made
Sweet times with good friends - hearty laughter, hot tea and warm tears

Time and sharing with my family (whether in person or via phone for those far away).
Hearing the music of my wind chimes outside my sewing room window.
My fur babies (Jazz is on my lap purring away right now).
Feeling the warm sun on my face.
Good health.

Funny you should ask. I just stood outside in our first warm weather breathing deeply and listening to the birds chirp and the woodpeckers doing their thing.
Knowing my husband survived open heart surgery and will be with me for years to come.
My happy children.
My furry, feathered and fishy family.
Sewing.

My Husband who is still my best friend after 28 years
An intelligent, successful and happy daughter (who is beautiful too)
Three happy bouncing Boxer dogs who love everything
A lovely home in a beautiful setting with my own sewing room
The internet, where I continue to learn, and also to socialize with quilters
