Default perfect embroidery pro

I do machine embroidery and today I attended a workshop and saw demonstrated software by the Dime company named Perfect embroidery pro. Is anyone familiar with this. It is selling at a special price of $1,799.99 for the workshop special. I have Embird......is this better? Help please.

I don't know that software or if it is better. It would depend on what you like to do with designs and how motivated you are to learn a new product.

What machine do you have for EMB? If you are considering upgrading to a new machine, many have package that include specialty software. Also the newer machines have updated features that do most every thing.

I have 3 different versions of software and seldom use them as I can edit right on the machine's screen.

Another consideration is does this price include future upgrades? Upgrades for software can be pricey.

I believe the Floriani version of software includes future updates/upgrades. One price and you are in. Computer versions change so you need to consider support down the road. It is important to do your research for these items and ask questions just like you are doing here. Good luck!

ETA: Will classes be offered to learn the software?

Welcome!

Are you using the machine features for editing designs or lettering projects?

These machines are fun! I have the sister or"brother" to your machine. LOL. I just learned how to master the stippling features with or without a design.

I bought a different program because it looked sooooo easy. The cost was similar. Wasted my money. I worked off and on for years trying to figure out how to use it. Finally just gave up. I don't design in Embird, but I do some resizing and color changes. It does what I need. My friend has the original Destiny. Wish I had one. It does so much.

I just upgraded my 5D Pro from Viking to their latest software, it doesn't need a dongle, so happy about that. I was so surprised, they now have in the hoop projects under their wizards and they also have quilt blocks. now I just have to learn how to use the program. Its been several years since I've done anything with 5D and have forgotten most of that. Thank goodness my old teacher teaches from home and she knows the software and the machines inside and out. The first thing that I'm going to learn is to add cutwork using my cutwork needles. I love doing cutwork.
