I've had it since I was 18, but never bothered to take anything for it.

I take Trazadone. Sometimes it works and sometimes with the pain in my ankles nothing will work. Your hubs shouldn't have any problems. He may be a little groggy for awhile in the a.m. Just watch hime closely because doctors can give a wide variety of dosages. I have to take quite a bit and I do find I am groggy in the morning, but I have never been a morning person. I also have sleep apnea and I think that causes me to have difficulty waking up. Best wishes for you both.

I have been taking it for almost a year. The doctor told me to take 1 - 2 at bedtime. I take only one. I usually sleep very soundly about 6 hours, but that seems to agree with me. I feel no side affects from it and feel refreshed when I wake up.

I keep an extra pill in the kitchen if I happen to get up after a few hours and can't get to sleep. But I rarely take it, about twice in six months.
