    That is a serious amount of ribbons! I use a similiar set up when I do a bargello quilt , but I use dowels and rubber bands on the ends.

    oh my..I am showing this to my sister..

    AND you could make cardboard washers for the ends of the rods to keep them from sliding through the chain..or get smaller chain if you can...what a GREAT idea!
