love your gardens! takes a whole lot of time to do but the results are soooo worth it aren't they? You will enjoy those all summer. Take pics later on when everything starts to fill in and bloom, what a riot of color you will have. Thanks for sharing.

Do you use mulch? I always do and this year, I got cedar mulch. I have a big problem with slugs in my yard, but I'm not seeing too many of them this year and wondered if the cedar had anything to do with it? We have some slugs, but not the invasion we normally get.
As always, your pictures are beautiful! :D

Oh Karla,
I would love to come and hang around in your garden. It is so beautiful. I just got my gardens up, plants dig and re-planted and cleaned out good when it started snowing again. It snowed again yesterday. It doesn't stay, but it does the damage. Thank goodness I didn't put in the annuals yet. They are patiently waiting in the garage.

I can't believe how neat and tidy your gardens are. I can't catch up with mine yet. Haven't even planted much yet. have cut flowers a few times and brought them in.
Love it! The blooming season is so short around here it definitely makes you appreciate it more.
Now in upstate NY for almost 38 years, but grew up in California. They can keep the smog, but I would gladly give them some of the cold weather and snow in the winter!
You take fabulous photos. Can't wait to see those wedding pictures!
