Exactly! Not to mention the aging fleet of those planes that drop fire-retardant. I think I heard that they only have less than a dozen for the whole country! I am keeping good thoughts for all our members in harm's way tonight.

JudyMN, I'm glad your nephew is safe! I hear they are now beginning to tell people the status of their homes, or at least some of them. Some evacuations have been lifted; other new evacuations taking place. They are reporting an undetermined number of structures have been burned, but at least count it was over 100; I think the 1800 is a misprint. The fire is still only 10 percent contained and has burned approximately 49,000 acres. They do have 1000 personnel fighting the blaze. The smoke is really bad near Wyoming I've heard. Today in Colorado Springs, all we can smell outside is smoke; and we cannot even see the mountains due to the smoke. Continued prayers with the families who live in the area and the firefighters fighting the blaze.
