Today means a lot to me. My Dad died on June 14 and was a WW2 veteran, as was my uncle who was born on this day.

Proud American family here too. I worked so I wore my red white & blue scrubs plus the flag was flying high at home. Flag day is also my husband's birthday so we celebrate that and his service every June 14.
Funny story is that he used to think people flew their flags just to celebrate his birthday when he was a small boy. :D
