Those are beautiful! I have the white, pink and double pink holly hocks. If you want some seeds, Pm me with your addy and I'll dry some for you. My black eyed susans are just now starting to bloom. My tall phlox is in full bloom now.

I think yoiur flowers are so pretty. It is so hot tht mine are really strugling. I remember when I was a little girl playing dolls with hollyhocks. We made dresses from blooms and used the rest for the arms and head. That was back when "Hector was a pup."

    I love your hollyhocks.
Reminds me of my home in NYC where we had lots.
No luck growing them yet in NH, but I keep trying.

Those hollyhocks remind me of my grandmother. She was a little ball of fire, had all kinds of flowers and a huge garden that she took care of. Loved going there and eating all the fresh vegetables, but the only thing I didn't like was that she always cut my hair.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I couldn't just make copies of your gorgeous flowers and tape them to the pots in my front porch!

    Nothing else works this summer.

I do, too, tho I hadn't seen any since I was a little girl (we used to make dolls out of them)! I didn't even know we could grow them here in WI! And pansies (violas?)! They have cheery little faces! Your flowers look beautiful. Mine are crispy. I've been watering them but the sun beating down on them has just nearly done them in... waaaah! Thank you for sharing these! You've got quite a green thumb!

Lovely flowers, I'm glad that the hot weather has not withered them. Enjoy your beautiful garden.

Your flowers are beautiful. So many of ours here are burning off from the high temps, even being in the shade and being watered frequently.
