I was in an art gallery not long ago and saw hand made dolls
displayed there. Those dolls were mermaids and very pricey.
Your dolls are going to be just as beautiful.

I worked until 2 am again lol. I just want to continue on these dolls. I started on the clothing for the Autumn colored one and finished her except for her ears, they still have to be wired and quilted.

The pics didn't come out so well, the light kinda just hit it wrong but I will post another pic when I finish the other one and the ears are on...these dolls take some doing. I am glad I like making dolls.

Looking at her on the web, I realize I will have to extend the color on her cheeks. I used eyelash yarn for her hair. I just knitted up a swatch and sewed it to her head. I put little beads here and there but you can't see them too well..

The vest is lined and wired so you can shape it like leaves.

Her ankle cuffs also quilted and top stitched with gold thread. I made the jewelry/

She has organza pantaloons and I made the brooch and the bracelet out of both glass and semi precious stones.

Backview. I made jewelry for a couple of the leaves where the wire exited.

Sideview with the bracelet. I really like the fabric for her body. I had no idea it would look so nice.

Thank you ladies. Here they are all done. I finished Night Shade about an hour ago.

Close-up of the jewelry, glass beads, semi precious and swarovski crystals

Autumn and Night Shade. I love that I can pose them anyway.

They are absolutely fantastic...this is beyond "dolls"...They have a real character and beauty. Thanks so much for sharing your masterpieces....
Even as a small child I disliked dolls, but these I love. Perhaps it is the element of fantasy....Anyway enough of my drivelling and thanks again.
