I remember that Friday the 13th. We were headed to FL for our son's wedding on 14th. as we were heading into FL almost every one was coming out, got worried and turned around to Georgia to get a room for the night. Well there were no rooms, all the ones coming out of FL had got them. So we went on into St Pete,To the sons house. Everything was boarded up no place to get any thing to eat.Just cooked what they had and all of us slept on couches and any were we found. Wedding still happened next day.For their honey moon they came to West Virginia and found a house to buy.

Hubs and I got married on May 13th, it was a Saturday, 38 years ago! I have a sister who was born on Feb 13th, can't remember if that was a Friday or not, ages ago anyway.

I believe I was born on a Friday and since my birthday is the 13 that would make it a lucky day. Mom always told me I was lucky to be here since she was in an accident 2 days before was born.

Friday the 13 is just 1 and 3 added together, which makes 4 and that is a good number. So no worries that day.

I was born on the l3th. Don't think it was a Friday but don't remember. It has always been a lucky number for me. Have had numerous birthdays on Friday the 13th. Does anyone have a chart that shows all the Friday the l3th in last 70 something years?

As I am a Christian I know who holds my life in his hands and I don't believe in luck good or bad. So I don't believe in superstitions. They are just something that has been handed down from a time when pagans had to explain things they couldn't understand and our society is still perpetuating those myths.

I have had many black cats walked under many a ladder spill salt all the time (not on purpose! LOL) broken mirrors and my life is just fine! LOL Silly things anyway!

Sometimes we do things without knowing why we do them but just because it has always been that way.

so I hope everyone will see that superstitions are just silly. Bad things happen to good people and bad people because Satan is in the world and what you do or don't do won't change that. What you do when bad things happen is what is important not the superstitions. Just my opinion!!
