Default GFG pieces

Many of you, it appears, have done GFG quilts. Since it is fun to prepare the pieces, they're portable and are simple to do, it's easy to have many ready to put to use in a very short time. I am doing a twin size GFG and have , oh so many, covered pieces left over and ready for.........something else. (???) What else have you made with them and, if you have not, what creative already ideas do you have for their use. Thank you.

A few of the things i've done...kitchen towel borders, decorate potholders. made fabric to make a bag, Makeup bag, pyramid bag, humbug bag, Frame for a quilt label. a small key chain for a spare key for my neighbors to use when I'm gone. A table runner, coaster, decorated a strip down the side of a place mat. A pincushion. I started a new quilt. My kitty, Zoey, a Russian blue, looked so good on the quilt i was making, I gave it to her. She loves it and looks so good on it. All christmas fabs i had made a Christmas pillow. In Asian fabrics, I made a block for my sons Asian quilt for his 25th birthday. Trim on a dresser scarf. i hope this gives you some ideas of what I've done. I'd love to hear more.

And, I'm not sure what size they need to be, but a bed runner might be pretty.

Yu can still do any of the suggestions stated above. Many have some left over and just add to it for another quilt. Maybe for a sampler or flower applique on a totally different project again as above mentioned.
