I too was thinking about a pretty candle (Pier 1 has gorgeous ones).. and a candle mat would put the icing on the cake! I like that idea. Nice, useful and not too time consuming.

Hi Lynnie,

SuzieQOH posted this link earlier. http://www.afewscraps.com/2017/11/li...e-pattern.html

These little baskets would make a great gift. I know I would love them. They look fairly easy to make.

I know you'll get some great suggestions.

doesn't have any particular likes.
hates animals.
I gave a co worker like this a big red tomato pin cushion with different sizes of safety pins. She was appreciative but didn't seem to excited about it. LOL She told me a couple of years later it was one of the most useful gifts she has had.

Thanks for the cranberry recipe osewme! Made 3 small loaves this morning. I put the shortening, egg & OJ in a Pyrex 2 cup measuring cup and used the blender rod on my KitchenAid hand mixer. Worked great. I already ate half a loaf, one in the freezer, and one ready to go to my neighbor. I'll be making this again!

Your pillowcase idea should make her chuckle (hope so anyway).

Does she drink wine or even sparkling juice? You could make a drawstring wine bag and fill it with her favorite bottle.
