Default The Glass Quilt

Took a stained glass class at the Community College. Used quilting patterns because I thought cutting straight lines would be easier.....Ha!!!!! Not so!!!! Still, it came out well and I have it hanging in my kitchen door. The morning sunlight shines through making the colours on the tile floor.

Lovely! I made stained glass pieces until my hands got too bad to cut. Looking back, a number of my pieces were similiar to quilt patterns. And that's long before I even thought about quilting.

Oh, how gorgeous! When you take a class like that are all the supplies included in the cost? I see things and would like to do a project but I don't want to get into all the craft supply purchasing for only one item.

When I took classes, the fee only included the instruction. I had to purchase my own tools and glass.

The actually class is inexpensive, but I did have to purchase the supplies.
