I know that I have some halfway finished and some ready to be sewn Sue blocks. I remember getting them ready for when I could work on them. I like to take these with me if i have to wait somewhere. I can't find them! I found the pieces where I cut out the dress part of Sue in my scrapbox. These were cute too! I have enough now to probably make dd #3 her twin size quilt....if I can find these blocks! I have gone thru my drawers and bins, looked in my scrapbox, looked in the closet and my dresser. I have NO idea where they could be. If I threw them away accidentally I am going to be mad at myself. Where to look next? The last place I remember them being is my cutting table which I cleaned up.....if I didn't clean I could find things!

Start a different project and then they will be right there! (where you put them for safekeeping) Yesterday I tore my sewing room apart looking for a bag of lace, Moved a small box about 10 times before I looked in it! Ah ha! The lace!!
now I have a giant mess!

LOL When my kids and husband were home, I'd blame them for losing my scissors. Then the kids left home, and I realized my husband was losing my scissors. After he died, I figured it out -- the LEPRECHAUNS were losing my scissors!!!!! Good luck!!!

Same thing happened to me. I had about 22 bath towels (we are a family of 11). Now we are down to 12 towels. Not sure where they went, but I gotta get em back!
