I admire anyone who can decorate a cake! It's lovely and bet it tastes as good as it looks.

The cake gets to the recepting in two pieces. The bottom layers were set in a box so the rim rests on the edge of the box to keep it from tipping. The top layer was in another box held by the groom. Then it is set up at the reception hall.

My thoughts exactly. How would you keep the tiers from falling over?

It is gorgeous. Guess it's like riding a bike once you learn you never forget. :)
To keep the layers from falling over you have to put dowl rods down through the layers that are stacked together.
